Identification of calcium chloride
Identify
The test of calcium salt (IT-10) and chloride (IT-12) was positive in the preparation of 10% sample liquid (with anhydrous calcium chloride CaCl2).
Content analysis
Samples about 1.5g (such as the Department of anhydrous calcium chloride samples is about 1g), accurately weighed, to a 250ml volumetric flask, 100ml water and 5ml hydrochloric acid solution (TS-117) dissolved in the mixture of which the volume is determined after mixing. The solution of 50.0ml in a suitable container, add 50ml of water, while stirring (preferably mechanical agitation) from a 50ml burette adding two sodium EDTA solution of 0.05mol/L is about 30ml, then add 15ml sodium hydroxide solution (TS-224) and hydroxynaphthol blue indicator 300mg, and continue the titration to produce blue so far. The EDTA two sodium solution of 0.05 mol/L per milliliter is equivalent to CaCl2. 2H2O 7.551mg. For example, the EDTA two sodium solution per milliliter of 0.05mol/L is equivalent to CaCl25.550mg per milliliter of calcium chloride.
